CPTPP Trade Digest: Ninth ministerial meeting, critical mineral deals and ratcheting Japan-China tension

The Comprehensive Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), a multilateral trade pact between 12 nations including the UK, held its ninth ministerial meeting in Australia, last week (21 November). The CPTPP trade digest looks at the major outcomes from this meeting, as well as new critical minerals deals and ongoing tension between China and Japan.
