Ulster University: Graduate to Export Programme 

The Graduate to Export programme, funded by Invest Northern Ireland, an agency of the Department for the Economy (DfE), supports Northern Ireland businesses looking to grow into export markets. It does this by funding the employment of a graduate on an 18‑month placement. 

The 18-month programme aims to enhance the export capability of local businesses by providing financial support to employ a qualified graduate to research and target a potential overseas market. 

Graduates will spend the first six months immersed within a Northern Ireland company, before relocating to an export market for 12 months to undertake comprehensive market research. 

As part of the scheme, graduates will receive relevant export skills training and mentorship by Ulster University Business School and the Institute of Export & International Trade, offering a pathway to secure a Postgraduate Diploma in International Marketing.

South Eastern Regional College (SERC)

These qualifications are delivered through the Chartered Institute, making SERC our key delivery partner in Northern Ireland and our strongest further‑education partnership across the UK.
